How is a Ragdoll Kitten SHIPPED?

If you are interested in one of our Ragdoll kittens but live too far to pick them up in person, we can arrange safe and fast delivery. Your kitten can be shipped to the closest airport or hand-delivered to your home. Delivery costs vary by location. Most kittens arrive within 4-8 hours in New Zealand-Australia and 24 hours max for international deliveries. However, delays may occur due to weather or health checks, so always confirm flight details with the airline before heading to the airport.

General Airline Requirements

  • Kittens must be at least 8 weeks and 4 days old.
  • A veterinarian health/acclimation certificate is required.
  • Some airlines have temperature restrictions and will check forecasts before travel.

Cost of Shipping via Airline

  • Veterinarian health certificate (required)
  • Travel crate (cost depends on size)
  • Airfreight cost (based on weight of kitten + crate)

Safe and Comfortable Shipping Process

Shipping a kitten is safe and stress-free. Airlines have strict procedures to ensure their well-being during travel. Kittens are usually shipped in temperature-controlled cargo or can sometimes travel in the cabin under a passenger’s seat. We mostly use air travel for safety, but land transport by pet-specialized trucking companies is also available for some locations.

Before shipping, all our kittens receive a Bordetella vaccine to protect them from infections during travel. Your kitten will arrive safe, healthy, and ready to join your home!
